To those who don’t know, I go to school in Chicago. Downtown Chicago to be exact. And to get there, I need to commute. So I take the train everyday. Some days are interesting, but most of the time it’s so mind numbingly boring that I kind of wish someone would rip of their clothes and declare a naked rave party.
Every day when I’m on the train it’s always

And as I get off the train it’s always
And
Some days I seriously wish I could hear interesting things when I am commuting.
Every once in a while a character boards the train and it gives me a glimmer of hope that the people who I normally ride with aren’t really as boring as they were.
I’m not even joking around with this. I only saw this guy twice, both on the same day: on my train ride to school and on my way home. What are the odds? His pimp suit was shiny gold with leopard print fur lining. He had the hat and the cane and a pair of really slick and probably expensive shoes. This guy was legit.
I see this guy all the time. He waits for the train at my station, he wears the same clothes every time, and he never stops talking. I mean seriously. He could be standing there by himself and he’d be talking. He’d be violently shouting things about the Sox or the Cubs and he always says dirty things to the train as it pulls into the station. Oh, and you see his bags? Every time I'd see this guy I’d wonder what he was carrying around. It was always the same two bags, too. One day I glanced in because I am a nosy little jackass. Guess what was in it?
Yeah. I don’t even know.
Where the hell does this guy even go?!
Oh jeez. This loser. Don’t even get me start- ohnevermindthat’sme.
So there you have it. My painfully boring train ride that is ordinary and is always the same. I somewhat dread it every day because I know it’s going to be a drag.
Unless this happens.
Holy balls that’d be awesome. But that‘ll never happen, so I guess I’m gonna have to be surrounded by boring people who seriously have nothing else to do but talk about their boring lives as if they live to be bored.
