Anyway, when I was around 13 he told us about how he turned off the street lights and caused a lot of chaos. I was amazed and flabbergasted! He was younger than I was and he did all these wacky teenager things that I never did. Granted, I WAS only thirteen, and I had only been a teenager for less than a year, but still! I was intrigued and confused, since the streetlights are solar powered.
My young friend gave a sly smile and told us how he did it. And that settled it.
That night I called up my other friend and told her the plan.
Soon after, she came over and we went over the course of action. My young friend made mention that we would have to look for a big, buzzing box either on or near a street light, and that we would have to shine a light on the light sensor on the bottom of it. So we grabbed a flashlight and set out on our journey.
We found a few boxes along the busy street that I live on, but we couldn’t use those because we were really paranoid about what kind of chaos we would cause.
We didn’t want to be responsible for THAT much chaos, so we located a box in the alleyway behind my house.
Perfect! No one really uses this alley anyway, so there wouldn’t be too much chaos!
We walked over to get a good view and what we discovered put a problem in our plan.
We were too short.
Dammit! And we were so close, too! But no! We wouldn’t let something so miniscule as our shortness stop us from doing this. We were teenagers! We HAD to do it!
So we went back to my house and devised another plan.

It was ingenious! Foolproof! We were masterminds at being delinquents! Those alley lights didn’t expect this, that’s for sure!
We grabbed our amazingly crafted new tool and headed back out to the alley. Of course, this time we kind of had to sneak there, as if that made our flashlight-pole-hybrid any less obvious.
Our stealth skills proved to be infallible as we made it to our destination. The time had come!
My friend grabbed the flashlight-pole-hybrid and stood under the buzzing box. She took a deep breath, turned the flight light on, and held it up to the sensor. Everything was going smoothly…
Oh god what have we done?! Why was this box here if it didn’t control the alley lights?!!
We started to panic! There was a house directly in front of the alley way opening and the people in there could have seen!
Screw the people! The HOUSES were watching!

Screw the people! The HOUSES were watching!
So were the cars!
Everything was watching us! Everything had EYES and they were STARING AT US.
Our panic turned to sheer fright and terror. We did the first thing that came to mind.
And that was the time that I was a delinquent.
*Don't attempt this. You could get in big trouble. Also, it won't be funny. This is only funny because I wrote it that way.
